Contact Us: We're Here to Help You Find Your Perfect Fit

We know that the journey to finding a bra that actually fits can be frustrating, emotional, and frankly, exhausting. For far too long, the lingerie industry has relied on outdated sizing methods—leaving millions of people wearing bands that ride up between their shoulder blades, cups that overflow, and underwires that dig painfully into breast tissue. If you have questions about your measurement results, need guidance on navigating sister sizing, or just want to share your "bra-aha!" moment with us, you are in exactly the right place. We would absolutely love to hear from you. You can fill out the secure contact form at the bottom of this page, or reach out to us directly via email at [email protected].

Our Support Philosophy: Why We Care Deeply About Your Comfort

At BraSizeChecker, we do not just see ourselves as a mechanical calculator or lines of code on a screen. We view our platform as a vital, empowering tool for bodily comfort, physical wellness, and self-confidence. Our entire support philosophy is rooted in a deep, empathetic understanding of what it feels like to struggle in the fitting room. We remember the days of desperately tugging at straps, dealing with painful red marks at the end of a long work day, and feeling like our bodies were somehow "wrong" or "disproportionate" simply because the standard sizes available at the local mall did not work for us.

The honest truth is this: your body is perfect exactly as it is; it is the bra industry's sizing standards and mass-production shortcuts that have been flawed for decades. When you contact us, you are not speaking to a faceless corporate entity or an outsourced customer service bot. You are connecting with a team of passionate, fit-obsessed individuals who have been exactly where you are right now. We approach every single message with empathy, patience, and a genuine, overriding desire to help you find relief and support.

Whether you are navigating a postpartum body transition, trying to find a high-impact sports bra that actually works after years of painful double-bagging, recovering from surgery, or simply trying to figure out why the center gore of your bra refuses to lay flat against your sternum, we are here to listen. We fundamentally believe that everyone deserves to wear undergarments that make them feel supported, comfortable, and unstoppable. When you write to us, please know that there are no "silly" or "stupid" questions. Bra sizing is incredibly complex, mathematically confusing, heavily nuanced, and historically completely lacking in consumer transparency. We are here to demystify it all for you, step by step.

Our small but mighty team reads every single message that comes through our inbox. While we receive a high volume of inquiries, we pride ourselves on providing thoughtful, personalized, and actionable responses. We do not use generic copy-and-paste robot replies because we know that every single human body is beautifully unique, and a rigid, one-size-fits-all answer simply does not work when it comes to the intricacies of bra fitting.

Before You Contact Us: Frequently Asked Questions & Extensive Guidance

Because we receive hundreds of emails every week from individuals embarking on their bra-fitting journeys, we have compiled an incredibly detailed and comprehensive list of the most common questions, concerns, and panics we hear from our users. We highly encourage you to read through this section carefully before sending your message. There is a very good chance that the answer you are looking for—or at least a very helpful starting point—is right here.

1. "The calculator gave me a size that seems totally impossible! I'm currently wearing a 36C, but it says I'm a 30G. Is this a glitch?"

We completely understand why this might feel jarring! In the bra-fitting community, we affectionately call this phenomenon "sticker shock." We promise you, our calculator is not broken, and it is highly unlikely to be a glitch. What you are experiencing is the direct result of moving away from the dreaded "+4 method."

For decades, mainstream lingerie brands and department stores have instructed customers to measure their underbust and arbitrarily add four or five inches to determine their band size. Why? Because back in the mid-20th century, bra fabrics were stiff, rigid, and entirely lacked the elastic stretch we enjoy today. Adding inches was absolutely necessary just for breathing room. Today, modern fabrics have plenty of stretch built in, yet many massive brands continue to use the +4 method so they can stuff a wider range of bodies into a smaller, vastly cheaper-to-produce range of "matrix" sizes (typically 32-38 band and A-DD cups).

By dropping the +4 method, your true, supportive band size is usually much closer to your actual snug underbust measurement. Because cup sizes are relative to band sizes (a 30G holds roughly the exact same breast volume as a 32FF, 34F, 36E, or 38DD), a smaller band naturally requires a mathematically larger cup letter to encompass the exact same amount of breast tissue. We encourage you to trust the math, order a bra in your newly calculated size from a reputable retailer with a great return policy, and see how it feels. It might just change your life.

2. "What do I do if my underbust measurements put me caught right between two band sizes?"

This is an incredibly common scenario, as human bodies do not naturally fall into neat two-inch increments dictated by the apparel industry. If your snug underbust measurement is exactly 31 inches, for example, you might find a 30 band uncomfortably tight and a 32 band frustratingly loose, allowing the bra to ride up your back.

Here is our empathetic, practical advice: comfort is highly subjective, and you should always choose what feels best for your daily lifestyle. If you carry less "squish" or adipose tissue around your ribcage, you might find that sizing up to the 32 band provides the comfort you need without feeling bony or constricted. Conversely, if you have softer tissue around your ribs, or if you are purchasing a brand known for very stretchy bands, sizing down to the 30 band and wearing it on the loosest set of hooks might provide the best long-term support. Remember that a brand new bra should always be fitted on the loosest hook. Over months of wear and washing, the elastic will inevitably degrade and stretch; starting on the loosest hook allows you to move to the tighter hooks as the bra ages, maximizing its lifespan.

3. "The new size generally fits, but the bra still looks terrible. It's digging into my armpits and gaping heavily at the top. Help!"

Size is only half of the equation; the other, equally critical half is shape. This is one of the most vital concepts we try to teach. Breasts come in an incredibly diverse array of shapes and distributions. They can be projected or shallow, full on top or full on bottom, wide-rooted (extending into the armpits) or narrow-rooted.

If you are trying on a bra in your mathematically correct size, but the cups are gaping at the top while simultaneously cutting into your tissue at the bottom, you might have "bottom-heavy" or projected breasts trying to fit into a molded, shallow cup. Think about trying to fit an orange into a bowl shaped like a dinner plate—the volume might technically be the same, but the physical shapes are entirely incompatible. We strongly recommend looking into our comprehensive guides on Breast Shape to help diagnose these exact issues. Often, simply switching from a stiff molded foam "t-shirt" bra to an unlined, seamed fabric cup (which conforms to your natural shape rather than fighting it) can completely solve these fit problems immediately.

4. "Do you keep, store, or sell my personal measurement data?"

Absolutely, unequivocally not. We fundamentally believe that your bodily measurements are incredibly private and deeply sensitive information. Our calculator runs entirely on the front-end, meaning the math happens directly within your own web browser. When you input your measurements, they are used instantly to calculate your size and are never transmitted back to our servers, saved to any database, or sold to third-party marketers. We do not want your data, and we take your digital privacy very seriously.

5. "I have asymmetrical breasts (one is noticeably larger than the other). How should I use the calculator to accommodate this?"

First of all, please know that asymmetry is completely normal, natural, and extremely common. In fact, the vast majority of people have one breast that is at least slightly larger than the other. When taking your bust measurements (standing, leaning, and lying), we recommend measuring loosely enough so as not to compress the larger side.

When buying bras, it is a golden rule to always fit for the larger breast. It is always better to have a bra that perfectly encompasses your larger side. You can easily balance out the fit by tightening the shoulder strap slightly on the smaller side, or by using a small silicone insert (sometimes called a "cutlet") in the cup of the smaller side. If you make the mistake of sizing for the smaller side, the larger breast will suffer from painful "quad-boobing," where tissue spills over the top or sides of the cup, which can cause significant discomfort, wire digging, and even tissue migration over time.
